John

John Hoggard D.O
Osteopath
I trained at the B.S.O and have been practicing for 31 years and hope to practice for another 31! I had wanted to do osteopathy since I was at school and I have loved it ever since. My areas of special interest are babies and children, cranial osteopathy and arthritic conditions. I also specialise in bone density screening and advice on osteoporosis.

Micheal

Michael Aronow B.Ost BA Hons
Osteopath
I studied at the B.S.O. My interest stems from many years of martial arts training of which I am also an instructor. I have a special interest in long term health not only returning patients to full function and performance but also preventing reoccurrence of pain and injury. I have worked in varied clinical settings ranging from specialist hospital, children’s clinics and within elderly and sports facilities.

Members of the General Osteopathtic Council

Penny Edmonds B.Ost
Osteopath
Growing up with my mother who was both an osteopath and a yoga teacher, I have always been aware of the importance of physical health. This inspired me to study osteopathy and I qualified from the B.S.O and joined Bessels Green in 2007. I have experience treating a wide range of patients including babies, children, expectant mothers, athletes and mature adults. I specialise in structural and cranial osteopathy tailored to suit the needs of my patients.

Kate Mew-Hayman
Masseur, acupuncturist & Hypnotherapist
I have been working with the osteopaths now for 17 years as a masseur and in the last few years have qualified as an acupuncturist and hypnotherapist which compliments my work and benefits’ my patients. I have an interest in peoples well being and find my work very rewarding some of my patients are like a second family to me.

Marcus

Robin Burby
Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture specialist
I studied in both London and China for five years qualifying in 2008.  I was attracted to Chinese medicine mainly because it has been used for over 2,000 years and views the body in a completely different framework, which allows diagnoses and hence treatment options to be offered when conventional medicine is unsuccessful.  Currently I work at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, but also have clinics in Dorking, Streatham and Liphook.

Shirley1

Shirley Rogers
Reflexologist
I studied the Renee Tanner method of Reflexology and qualified in 2007 and am a member of the IFR. My reason for actually studying this very beneficial alternative therapy was after having treatments myself for stress and anxiety. After a course of treatments, I was so pleased and surprised with the results, that I felt I would like to enable others to benefit as well.

Denise

Denise Parrington
Practice Manager
I joined the practice about 7 years ago on a part time basis. I am now responsible for the day to day running of the practice. I enjoy working here, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
